Concepts Blue Lobster Dunk Low retail version
The Concepts Blue Lobster Dunk Low retail release is the third in Concepts’ Lobster series. The original Lobster sneaker came out ten years ago and was the first collaboration between the two companies. It was a limited-edition sneaker that was given to friends and family. Later, a “Yellow Lobster” version of the sneaker was also released.
The original Concepts x Lobster collab was a huge success and was followed by the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low. Initially, the shoe was packaged in a HAZMAT foam container and included a hang tag, lace lock, and lobster bands. It is notable for the lobster-like speckling on the heel, tongue, and insole.
Concepts and Nike SB followed up with a similar collaboration in 2009. The second Blue Lobster Dunk Low was released with a similar color scheme and design, featuring a blue lobster and a rubber band at the toe, much like the claws of a crustacean. The Concepts Blue Lobster Dunk Low retail release was set for June 2009.
Despite its limited release, the Concepts Blue Lobster Dunk Low retail release is a great way to get a pair for a fraction of what it would cost to buy them. This sneaker will cost around $130 and is expected to be available through Nike.
Besides collaborating with other brands to create an iconic collaboration, the Lobster SB Dunks will also feature an orange colorway. The retail version will have orange stitching throughout. In addition, the Lobster SB Dunks will feature a Zoom Air insole. The Lobster SB Dunks will be available at Concepts stores and online.
